 If I upgrade NetCDP from older versions with un-compressed backup files, how do I clean up the un-compressed files and start over?

A:

Follow the following steps.

1. Right click on NetCDP sys tray icon and bring up options dialog.

2. Go to "Options" and set "Maximum allowed versions" to be 0, click OK to save. NetCDP will start to delete the backup files.

3. Wait until cleanup complete. This can be checked from tray icon tooltips or status dialog.

4. Reset "Maximum allowed versions" to a desired number (5 is the default).

5. Add the folders you would like to protect.
